A complex, medium bodied Cabernet Franc nicely combining red plum, red currant and cherry with fragrant violet and dried rose petal notes with added layers of vanilla and red and black licorice. The palate is intensely flavoured with ripe tannins, crisp acidity and complex notes of graphite, dried thyme, burlap, tobacco, baking spice, charred wood and a hint of leather to match the vibrant red fruit, all lingering through a long, savoury finish.

Fragrant. Pinoesque. Light-medium weight. Snappy. Layered. Certainly an interesting and satisfying wine.

  2. 92

Amaro, liquorice, black cherry aromas with praline notes. Supple wine with black cherry, red currant fruits, fine chalky tannins. Acidity pokes out at the finish.

  3. 97

Bouquet of ripe red and blackcurrant with stemmy herbal overtones and cedary accents. Fresh and lively with quite astringent tannins, crisp acidity and a chalky finish.
