This well-structured Chardonnay is in the subtle pear and apple realm with accents of lavender and anise from the time in barrel. The citrusy notes of lemon and orange will evolve into more of a mineral and saline quality. Over time, additional flavors and aromas will emerge as the wine expands.

Intense. The nose is an oxidative style. Creme caramel. Baked cream. A touch of clove-like oak. While the flavours are intense, this wine does not have the fruit concentration or flow of some of the other wines. Plus, the oak is a little too prominent.

Very intense butterscotch nose. Lots of overt toast, vanillin artifact. Big and intense, with so much vanillin notes, some nutty complexity with pronounced oak.
