Bright aromatics of red plums and cherry complimented with some earthy toasted spice. The palate shows generousity with flavours of blueberry and dark plum fruits and an earthiness that gives the wine a savoury profile. The tannins are fine grained and persistent, supporting the juicy fruit characters.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

96 | Classy red fruit with a hint of tangerine. Warm vanilla cherries. I love the fruit focus and intensity, as well as the chalky finish. Freshness, energy and vitality.

94 | VG colour, deep and bright; bouquet cherry and raspberry, fruit does the talking, a big bold wine with heaps of fruit and balanced tannins. Enlivening acidity, but balanced. This has potential.

93 | Lovely ripe strawberry and bramble fruit. Very primary and intense with lovely floral lift. Not particularly complex but has a lovely appealing strongly varietal character. Meaty, earthy. Generously fruited with lots of charm

87 | dusty, rustic, firm, very dark for a Tempranillo, stewed fruit compote tannic finish, needs food
