A harmonious palate delivers some liquorice notes intermingled with black cherries, subtle dried herbs and finishes with round velvety smooth tannins.

95 | Opulent pinot aromas; plenty of red cherry, plum. Some forest floor, button mushroom. Touch of smoky reduction. Generously fruited. Lovely rose petal. Silky ripe tannins.

95 | VG colour; complex fivespice and smoky cherry aromas; lots of oak; a fuller bodied and more extractive wine, with abundant drying tannins underpinned by lively acidity. Bigger brawnier style, but good.
