Two Sisters Margo 2021

Margo is made using only Estate grown fruit, specifically farmed with the intent for rosé production, then gently hand-harvested and pressed. Grapes were harvested early to retain acidity and freshness. This vintage is made from 83% Merlot, 13?bernet Sauvignon, and 4?bernet Franc. Our 2021 Margo is juicy and dry, showing fresh red fruit accentuated by tart lime zest and rhubarb. The nose is bursting with ripe red cherries, cranberry and watermelon, and a subtle ‘candied’ character. Crisp, fresh, and balanced, this rosé is brilliantly flavourful. Although the wine is dry, the palate is very much about sweet ripe fruit, showing red currants, strawberries, cherries and watermelon, contrasted by subtle notes of cherry pit and citrus zest. The 2021 Margo really peaks as everything combines for a lovely and lingering finish.
