This wine offers a complex aroma of citrus, stonefruit, and spice characteristics. The palate has depth and intensity with mineral notes and a powerful finish with flavours of apricot and vanilla, balanced by a juicy acidity. A Chardonnay that shows richness alongside a tightly structured palate with layers of texture and pairs well with snapper, saffron, shellfish and other delicate flavours.

91 | Reductive nose. Serious citrus and smoke character. Touch of astringency and a phenolic edge. Length and refreshment.

95 | Attractive bouquet of apricot blossom, lemon zest, flint and grilled toast. Rich, forward and powerful, offering excellent intensity of ripe peach balanced by fresh acidity and toasty complexity. Excellent power and drive. Fuller-bodied with superb length and persistence.

95 | Very appealing. There is some ripe white peach/nectarine sitting alongside sweet new oak and a touch of reduction. Palate is sleek but there is some flesh that offsets the acidity. Attractive.

96 | Buttery, toasty, nutty bouquet, classic chardonnay. Smoky oak and gentle reduction. Full-bodied, rich and ample in the mouth; a generous and layered wine. Smashing chardonnay.
