Aromas leap out of the glass. The palate is scintillating with acidity and tension. There is also richness and depth. This can only be achieved with patience and time. After 12 years the yeast from the secondary bottle fermentation have just about given everything they have to give. This is sparkling wine in all its glory.

93 | Developing baked apple and mushroom nose. Ripe and rich expression. Sweet and integrated character. Focused and refined if sweet.

91 | Mushroom aroma, also shows toasty development. Very dry and just slightly uneven along the line. Roasted hazelnuts also.

96 | Mid-depth straw hue, fine bead. Grilled apple, touch of caramel. Fine and forward, powerful intensity of baked apple brioche with biscuity complexity building towards the close. Huge persistence with grilled bread to the close. Still has ample energy and drive.
