A favourite in the local New Zealand market, we have produced this sparkling wine since 1989, made in the traditional method from 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay. It is aged on its lees for three years before being disgorged to develop delicious biscuity toasty flavours.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

88 | Attractive fresh bread and creamy custard aromas, acid a trifle hard, tense and nervy. Very dry finish.

93 | Subtle aroma - yellow fleshed stone fruit but palate has lovely succulent spine of acid, some ripe savoury fruit. Crisp palate. Good length

93 | Big nutty sulfides. The palate is quite bold and generous. Sweet fruited. The bead is fine.

89 | bruised apple skin, leesy a touch too much phenolic grip, feels overworked, acid-driven finish
