96 | Treacle. Very very slightly dusty. Super intense, burnt sugar, creme caramel. Maple syrup. Bonfire toffee. Dark chocolate. Ridiculously concentrated, luscious. The finish is never-ending.
95 | Inky black hue. Intense treacle aromas, baked raisins, molasses. Intensely sweet, almost coffee-liqueur in nature, huge intensity, depth and power. Persistence that goes on and on.
95 | Syrupy, glass staining amber colour, dark and dense and unctuous. Fabulous old fish-oil/malty topaque aroma, hard to tell its age; concentrated and ancient. Lots of rancio. Very bitter on the front of the tongue. Cold coffee, bitter dark chocolate. Very old wine, and beautiful. Could use some freshening?
