A Pinot Noir-dominate blend with Chardonnay; fruit is taken from across three of our vineyard sites, ensuring complexity in the base wine. Sites include Cairnmuir and Felton Terraces in Bannockburn, Central Otago, as well as Murrell in Pisa, Central Otago.

A complex nose of citrus peel, green apples, roasted almonds and vanilla bean custard. The palate shows a fine mineral thread and the creamy character on the nose follows through with orange citrus notes of tangerine.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

91 | Subtle restrained green apple and pear. Plate has quite noticeable dosage that lies over the palate to give a slightly sweet, broad layer of flavour

96 | Creamy meringue/macaroon bouquet, dry/savoury, low dosage, nutty/toasty savoury flavours run deep. A superb wine, all the bits work well together and it has heaps of character.

88 | peach rings, dusty fruit gummies, mineral tension bright aciidty, lean mouthfeel flat finsh, So close; with refinement my score goes higher.

93 | The nose is beautifully creamy with a mix of fresh cream and cracked wheat. The palate is sweet fruited and beautifully refreshing. This is a very good wine - it is just not as complex as some of the other wines on the table.
