96 | Black Forest cake on the nose. Perfumed and in the pocket. Ripe and generous style, with layers of dark fruit, liquorice and chocolatey oak. Ripe and glossy style. Carries through. A red wine with a beginning, middle and end.
94 | Very good bright purplish colour. Cassis, blackberry and mulberry to sniff. Big tannins fill the palate. Chewy but also deep in flavour, a big and brawny franc with tannins to burn which demands hearty protein.
95 | Lovely perfumed violet and black cherry aromas. Super silken palate, milk chocolate and vanilla bean. Slightly soft but has a great deal of charm, albeit in a very generous, super-ripe style.
95 | Lifted bouquet of ripe berries, strawberry, raspberry and red currant with some violet overtones. Medium-bodied, offering lovely freshness and percussion, excellent intensity of red currant fruit and ripe tannins in support. Beautifully balanced.
