Estate grown Chardonnay underwent primary fermentation in 90% stainless steel and 10% French oak barrels. Tirage was then carried out and the wine left to mature on yeast in bottle for 41 months before being finished. Dosage was a portion of aged based wine matured in barrel.

90 | Slightly acrid toastiness, palate is sweet and chewy in parts. Uneven but flavoursome.

89 | Quite a delicate style. Low impact autolysis. Persistence but relatively simple.

95 | Clean nose. Restrained. Crisp and clean expression. Racy, apertif style. No fat, just focused zesty and toasty flavours. On a rail from start to finish, with a mouthwatering finish. Precise and elegant.

86 | Pale lemon, fine bead. Crisp and clean modearte intensity, lacking in toasty autolytic complexity and drive.
