Leveret & Mills Reef Winery Elspeth Syrah 2020

92 | A dark, fleshy style with a little forest floor, bracken and mushroom. While I enjoy the wine, the palate is shortened by the acidity tannins and it does not quite have the flow I am looking for.

94 | Deep, dense colour with a powerful oak-driven bouquet. Cedary, toasty, very full bodied and supple, tannins are mouth-coating but fleshy/ripe and smooth. Impressive wine.

88 | hints of reduction, simple but honest, delivers a decent expression and ends with a straightforward finish

96 | Pure ripe black fruit. Hint of bacon reduction + some pepper. Very aromatic. Silky tannins. Medium bodied but plenty of flavour. Delicious crispness to the palate.
