Hand-picked at progressive ripening’s within the blocks, hand-sorted and whole-bunch pressed to tank and settled overnight. No pressings cuts were made; the must was given a good squeeze. Minimal SO2 or dry ice protection, only at end of pressing. Racked cloudy juice to barrel with light solids for 100?rrel fermentation utilising natural and cultured yeasts. Aged on lees in barrel with selective stirring on leaner barrels. A portion of barrels were allowed to undergo 100% malolactic fermentation.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

91 | Sweet-fruit aromatics. The palate is quite savoury and there is low fruit on the close.

91 | A restrained textural wine. Fruit sits in the citrus spectrum ,oak v subtle but surprisingly lengthy. Still seems unresolved, would have expected a little bottle development by now?

88 | A leaner, greener style. Tense, taut, ageing slowly. Just a wee bit ungenerous?

87 | lees mineral, pulled to one direction and ends with a smudged finish, lacks purity and freshness
