The 2022 vintage produced a lush version of Viognier. The combination of a late spring and late fall resulted in aromas of ripe pear and yellow apple along with Rainier cherry and white peach. The oak softened the acidity while adding a spicy character with a ripe and round finish. The grapes were whole cluster pressed and fermented in 69% neutral French oak, and 31% concrete eggs, and aged sur lie for 6 months.

95 | Pleasing restraint. Faint stone fruits with a hint of hessian. Lovely balance.

88 | simple fresh softly tropical and nutty with notes of orange oil and citrus blossoms, med+ bod, quick clean finish

83 | Blue cheese rind. Dull and hollow. Unappealing and bitter

89 | Delicate rose petal fragrance, palate is dry and full, with a pleasant firmness to finish. Broad, full of flavour and grip, with a yeasty character running through it. Firm aftergrip.
