The grapes for this stylish wine were nurtured in small open fermenters before maturation in 3 year old French oak for 18 months. It is deep purple in colour, has an enticing bouquet of violets and mulberries, a luxurious mouthfeel and seductive fine tannins.

93 | Very dense, deep dark purple colour; gumleaf-mint aroma, a massive wine, very full-bodied and concentrated, freshening acidity, a Malbec built for the long haul.

95 | Choc-mint and floral nose. Concentrated and polished style, ripe and rewarding. Bright cherry and plummy character with spice and mint. Fresh and lingering finish.

95 | Menthol, black wine gums. Decadently fruited with a dusting of fine, ripe tannin. Nice persistence of flavour

96 | Inky purple hue. Opens with blueberry and freshly cracked pepper. Fresh and bright, with attractive blueberry fruit, excellent freshness and cracked pepper complexity to the close.
