Greystone Organic Chardonnay 2023

93 | Opens with noble reduction, gun-flint, struck match with hints of lemon zest. Crisp and clean with well-delineated lemon and white peach fruit offering good freshness and drive. Hints of toasty complexity. Everything in place but lacking the x-factor of textural complexity.

93 | Very appealing. It is quite a bold, generous style with lots of new oak and a fair coating of reduction but the palate has masses of intensity and flavour. A big wine to be sure but seems to pull it off successfully.

91 | Campfire reduction, bourbon barrel-esque. Freshness and intensity on the palate, with reduction coming back for the curtain call. Made to a style.
