Cumquat/lemon, green apple, struck match, nougat, wet river stones. Saline, crystalline lemon focus with a citrus zing. The toasty oak is present but not overdone. A lovely flinty quartz like dryness offset by a touch of sweetness. Salivating. Great balance and set up for the long haul.

91 | Developing nose, browning apple and cereal. Flat rather than fresh, serious earthy Old World character. Vibrant acidity coursing underneath from beginning to end.

90 | Starting to develop some appealing bottle-aged notes. A subtle wine, ripe stone fruit. A little touch of new oak. Palate has an appealing creamy texture.
